Bio 

ANDREI MEDEIROS SCHLATTER 

 

Andrei is a Brazilian dancer, born August 1991 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

His training began in 2008 as part of the Centro de Dança Rio under the direction

by Marisa Fonseca Estrela.

The professional career began with the “Companhia Jovem de Ballet do Rio de Janeiro”.

Under the guidance of Dalal Achcar, he worked in ballet projects such as Romeo and

Julia or also "Marguerite and Armand" with.

In collaboration with Carla Camurati and Isaac Karabtchevsky, Andrei danced in front of the

dreamy scenery of the Copacabana in front of 80 thousand spectators for the “Aquarius

Project".

Andrei made his first steps in Switzerland in 2014 in the “Association L'avant

Scène Dance Cie” in Lausanne with director Jania Batista Former.

Back in his native Brazil, he danced in 2015 and 2016 in the “Ballet

Company in Mato Grosso” by Maria Hercilia Panosso.

Andrei was also allowed to attend the world-famous Brazilian carnival with his energy

directed by Marcelo Misailidis.

His path led him back to Switzerland in the same year. This time to Zurich to at

Andrei Medeiros - Schlatter also has the dance license from “Danse Suisse”

and the Sindicato dos Profissionais da Dança do Rio de Janeiro (Association

professional dancer of the State of Rio de Janeiro) (SPDRJ).
